bouquet toss and unity candle songs?

I've been looking for a good song to play to my shock the industry, and nothing is really jumping on me. I don 't particularly want one of the songs as "Girls want to have fun" or "it' s raining men that." I'd like to play something different, so if anyone has any good ideas, share please! We are also looking for a nice song to play during the lighting of the unity candle and I'm having the same luck with that … we have a couple of songs that we like, but we are open to more suggestions.

    are you bent on having specific songs for this? as far as the unity candle song…it happens during the vows and it may be akward having a song randomly start playing.

    but for the bouquet toss…do you and your girl friends have a song that you just can’t help but play everytime you are together…something special to all of you? that would make it more special. :) always go with something personal…b/c your day should be about making it personal in everyway possible

    Bouquet toss: Frank Sinatra - “Luck Be A Lady” from Guys & Dolls; also, “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer; “When You Wish Upon A Star” (Jiminy Cricket, apparently); “Get Me to the Church on Time” from “My Fair Lady”; “I Knew the Bride When She Used to Rock and Roll” by Nick Lowe, or what I’m planning for my baseball wedding…”Centerfield” by John Fogerty!

    Unity candle (depending upon how conservative the ceremony is): “One Hand/One Heart” from “West Side Story”, “No More Stormy Nights” (The Eagles); The Prayer (Andre Bocelli) or some nice instrumentals, like “Pachelbel’s Canon in D”, “Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring”, or a portion of “Appalachian Spring” by Aaron Copland would all be good choices.

    I didn’t do any special song for my bouquet toss… so I can’t help you there.

    As for unity candle, I used You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban. We edited it down to about 2 min and everyone loved it. Just a suggestion!
