Make oragami flowers out of paper and put them in vases on the table.
the wedding favors that i have liked the most were a picture of the couple, the same one that we signed when we walked in.
i do not know about centerpieces, not enough info
sorry.
favors for the blokes…miniature whiskeys, they go down well!
and for the girlie’s…a make up of smalls chocolates. for the centerpieces I’m not too sure but i guess white Lillie’s (individual) might look nice. if its your wedding, good luck.
center peices can be a simple single red rose in a vase. so people can actually see across the table.
favors, a small bag, tied with a knot. Inside you find candies.and a card. the card reads,”blah and blah are tying the knot, with some hugs, some kisses and one big promise. The coordinating candies are hershey kisses, hershey hugs, and dove promises.
Keep your centerpieces simple. A few ideas:
Use a type of flower that is in the bouquets and put in a simple vase.
Use glass bowls with floating candles.
Use pillar candle in your wedding colors (alternating colors on tables), one per table, set on a small sprinkling of rose pedals
Skip the centerpieces and place the favors in the center of the table.
magnets..buy wood cutouts from ebay..they come in every shape and size..buy some clear address labels print names and date on them…paint the wood..maybe some glitter (put label on before glitter) and slap a magnet on the back (buy in rolls at craft store)
keychains..wood cutouts..drill a hole in each..paint them..same thing with the labels..put on key chain (craft stores)
cookies..make cutout sugar cookies..decorate..put in pretty tulle
little bags of your favorite candies
i used candles for my center pieces..i bought star shaped silver cardboard things (comes in lots of shapes) from oriental trading..and bought lots of diff candles from dollar stores and put them on the stars..and placed some rose petals around them
you can do a basket of fruit..pictures of you and your new hubby in stages thru out life
if you want flowers buy a crapload of the cheap walmart fresh bouquets and some vases
I have TONS of centerpiece ideas, but in order to suggest things that may suit you best…I need a little more info such as what season you’re getting married, your colors &/or ‘theme’, is there a budget you want to try to stay within?
As far as favors go, to be honest they’re really not a MUST if you don’t really want to have them. I’ve seen hundreds of them go to waste having been left at the weddings I attended. Hardly anybody really takes them home.
I ordered little wedding stickers that have sayings on them from oriental trading, they go on the bottom of Hershey Kisses. I’m just going to put a bowl of Kisses at each of my tables. That way they’re still getting a representation of a favor, they’re just not individualized. The wete only $5.95 for 880 stickers.
Don’t do favors.
Most people will leave them and it’s a waste of your valuable time and precious resources. Let you guests take happy memories of they day home.
