How about a bulb to plant? You do that in the fall, and then your guests will have a beautiful flower in the spring!

I went to a wedding where the favors were little vials of lavender-scented oil. I don’t know if this counts as candy, but I’ve seen caramel or candied apples as favors for a fall wedding. Just keep in mind that a lot of people won’t take their favors, so pick something that you won’t feel bad throwing away or using lots of.

custom shot glasses with your names and date of the wedding on it, a cd with your favorite songs and names and picture on the cover, anything that helps them remember your special day.

First off - congratulations on your upcoming wedding. What we did for our wedding was ask the bridal party for their favorite song or if they were married for the song from their first dance at their wedding. Then we created a CD with the songs on it for our wedding favors. We designed the covers ourselves. They were a HUGE HIT!

If you like this idea - I do this on the side. So if you need help please feel free to email me. I also am in the process of creating my own business and have started a website - I’ve included the link below in case you are interested.

Once again - CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Go with the music CD’s. That is what we are doing. It’s unique, your guests will use them (and not just leave them on a shelf to collect dust) and making them is a nice way for you and your fiance to spend time together.

I am working on a wedding in the fall also. We are making cookies in fall leave shapes with my brides date and the couples names in icing on each one. They will be on each table setting on the napkin. It will also help to control the out door wind that will gently blow. The napkins will have a menu tucked in a pocket that will be folded in a tux fold with the cookie wrapped in clear bags with a small ribbon bow in the fall gold color of her wedding.
Hope this helps. She didn’t want something that will take up space in a drawer or on a shelf but will be nice and fun.
