this is my invitation http://www.invitationpaper.com/star.html but wine and champagne (which are my wedding colors) This is the source i 'm going to use http://www.dafont.com/porcelain.font There is a special ink that I buy this or I will be enough to make the invitations look nice. when I bought the kit was planning on sending them to a store like Staples or Kinko so I could print it for me but when I called the store told me they couldn 't print them because the paper size. I am very nervous that look like home-made or cheap is not what I want. anon thanks for the heads up. Knew about the extra postage it actually says on the website when you go to buy the invitations.

You can try an inkjet printer, but clean the printheads and rollers first (there should be a setting that lets you do that).

If you hate it, Kinko’s will print on standard size card stock and cut them for you. You could get some similiar to what you purchased. I do this all the time for cards and gift tags and things, and it’s not too expensive.

    Good luck!

There’s no special ink, just make sure you start with a full cartridge. As long as there’s enough ink to print boldly, and you give each invite a chance to dry before stacking so it doesn’t smear they’ll look wonderful.

No special ink is needed. I would just recommend trying a few sheets out with different ink weights, and quality levels, like quick print, normal and best. Sometimes, depending on the paper, the ink may get too heavy and bleed. Usually on vellum and lighter papers. I would just do a couple test runs on your paper before you run them all through at the different quality levels I said above. I ended up needing to use the quick print on my printer. It didn’t lay the ink so hard as the normal.

I don’t really know about the ink but I just thought I would give you a warning about square invitations. Square invitations generally require more postage, so make sure to plan for that in your budget!
